A Wasted Day
No, not in the "Duuuuude, I'm so" way, in the I didn't do a damn thing of value today. Going to have to ration my internet time, I see. Oh well, I did take care of some business, filed my unemployment claim, did my taxes (ouch) & sent in my separation paperwork, so I guess the day wasn't a total loss. Kat, thanks for stopping by my blog today! I am quite sympathetic to your layoff, I work for a company that has had two layoff rounds in the last year and a half. I miraculously survived both rounds, but many of my friends lost their jobs. I also used to work at AIG and two years after I left, all my friends that still worked there in the Milwaukee office were jobless. If it makes you feel better, I did nothing but lay on the couch blogging yesterday and today! haha
